Yes that’s correct. Because it’s local only. It’s possible to use it with SSL but it requires a certificate…
I suggest to use port 5000 and a local IP. In this way you can also benefit from the Wake-On-Lan function

Ah, but I do want SSL for external connections, but it’s not possible to turn off SSL for LAN-connections only right?

I do have a SSL-certificate and I am using a different port (which I entered in the Homey-configuration). I still get the message: Could not find that PairSession.

Will enable the SSl setting. Then IT should be possible to connect via SSl. :slight_smile:

  • NEW: add hashed passwords (hide in homey developer tools)
  • FIX: new secret key for password encryption

I have the DS 220+ running…tried the app… it says “invalid_setting_type”…everything looks fine for me :slight_smile:
What could be the problem??

I’m getting this error: Invalid IV length. I did change my Synology password (and changed it in Homey as well).
