Thank you for your message,

Have you tried to reach Homey support for assistance?
If the situation was the other way around and it was a third party sensor added to a FIBARO hub then one of the reasons could have been the fact that the right template is missing in the system yet.
Please note that devices added without templates should still work with basic functions since templates give us only visual support for maintaining the device. This means that templates facilitate changing the parameters, however any other functionality should work without problems.

Hi Robin,

Thank you for reaching out to us, I’m sorry to hear about your issue.

For the battery level indication we completely depend on data that comes from the sensor. If the data during pairing is 100% and this doesn’t get updated, the shown value remains 100%.

Some sensors have a “Low battery threshold” setting that allow you to change this to, for example, 80%. Every change in battery level below this threshold get reported to Homey. I just checked my Fibaro Motion Sensor, this one unfortunately does not have this setting.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Best Regards,

Boaz

The Athom support team.

En weer terug naar Fibaro…

“I understand, please let me check with the team that is responsible for product development. I will get back to you once I receive a reply.“

And dan het finale antwoord van Fibaro. Helaas pindakaas…

Thank you for your patience,
While we are eager to improve the existing devices, we are also involved in launching new products and there is always a matter of balancing the two.

There are some major plans regarding product update, including type of hardware that our devices will receive in the future, but we cannot provide you with a specific date when this specific battery modification will be introduced. Once again we are very sorry for the inconvenience.
