Fibaro Smart Implant set up contact alarm

Hi all,
I have a Fibaro Smart implant set up for the garage door opener and connected a temperature sensor. All works fine.
I am now trying to figure out if it is possible to get an alarm if a contact point has been activated.
Exactly what I have is that I have a closed circuit and would like a notification alarm if this is opened. I have the IN2 available.
What I have tried is to set Type Input 2 to normally closed contact, added parameter 21,1,0
I hoped that would give me an alarm but nothing is happening…
The contact is connected to IN2 and GND

Don’t try to config the parameters with “Raw Configuration”, if the parameters are available in the advanced settings of the device.
Try to switch “Type input 2” to “Normally closed contact”.

I have tried that. I put it to normally closed. As long as I don’t have connected anything to the flying lead from the fibaro it then should av detected tha it is not closed and trigger an alarm.
But it is not reported…

No, you must of course connect a reed contact or similar. If the input is closed or open is only determined at the first time when a change has taken place.

Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.
Everything works now.
