iRobot Roomba i7+

Athom recently announced that IFTTT support will be deprecated we really need a working app or another workaround, any suggestions? The beta app is not working with my i7+, keeps crashing.

Iā€™m currently running the stable version of the app with my i7. Works fine, but status update doesnā€™t work when started via iRobot app or google. Found this threat and testing a fixed IP right now. Will update this post when it works.

Hi all, just bought a Roomba 976 but the Homey app (also latest beta) simply tells me cannot find any new devices, something im missing or? It is connected to WiFi.

Anyone?

Opinions seem mixed about this app but my experience with my Roomba i7 is that it never worked

While the only officially supported device is the Roomba 980, the app seems to work with quite a lot of other Roomba vacuum cleaners. But not with i7+ though which is still a serious concern. I actually tried the SIMATIC Robot Integrator app that lets you integrate robots from different manufacturers into your machine structures quickly and easily via TIA Portal, with no assistance from external specialists. SIMATIC is actually a siemensā€™ chatbot development services product and can work with any Roomba product even the I7+. So if you are looking for something better than Homify. Why not try siemens?

The officially Roomba iRobot App supports most of iRobot-Devices: Roomba iRobot App. Running the App with S9+ and Braava-Jet. All works fine. The Information with only 980 is not UpToDate.

My 980, i7+, i9+ and braavajet al work perfectly with the Irobot Homey App.

While trying to add my Roomba i7+ to my Homey (HP16-19), it seemed it got stuck after logging in at the iRobot call-back page.
Then I saw the earlier question in this topic about the use of the right subnet and I remembered that Iā€™m using a VPN. After using split-tunneling for the Homey app AND for the iRobot app, I got my Rooba device added to my Homey without any problems.
So maybe a suggestion for others: check your (Wifi and subnet and) use of VPN. If in doubt, switch it (temporarily) off.
