Hello Community,

don’t know if this is right in here but: is there a presence detector on the market working wireless? I only could find motion sensors but for a bathroom for example simple motion detection is a bit lame.

What wouldn’t you consider lame? There are radar motion sensors available nowadays that go through walls, but the downside of those is that they require more power than a simple PIR.

You could consider the aeotec multi sensor 6. To combine motion with humidity (when showering in a cabine) for instance. Otherwise, do not use presence detection but use a google home mini for voice control. Quite practical in a bathroom.

I am also looking for a presence detector with WLAN. So far I have only found the expensive Feller Pirios 360. They’re great, but they don’t have Wi-Fi…
