Unifi presence not working when roaming between access points

When moving around in my home, my phone roams between access points as it should to get best network performance. Now it seems as the Homey Unifi app doesn’t pickup that my phone is connected to another access point and thereby sets it as “away”. Is there something I can do to change this behavior?

Homey firmware: 1.5
Unifi Homey app: latest

My network setup:
Controller: 5.9.29.0 (on a windows machine)
USG 3p
UAP-AC-PRO (3 pcs)

I also have a bit similar configuration but running Homey firmware 2.0.2 and ubiquiti unifi v2.0.3
I use 2 accesspoint UniFi AP-AC-Mesh & UniFi AP-AC-LR and a Cloudkey, all running 4.0.10.9653 firmware.
It doesn’t matter where I am in my apartment and to which accesspoint I am connected with an iPhone or Android phone.
