Its not answer you are looking for, but for doorbell functionality I use simple Aqara wireless switch and Homey app Soundboard. Once the switch is pressed, Homey will play desired sound (in my case bell sound), take picture from door camera and send push notification.
If you have google home assistant speaker, you can also transmit TTS message that will be played on desired devices (e.g. “somebody is ringing at front door”). Works perfectly.

But what camera did u connect and does it work once the aqara button is pressed?
I have Hiwatch outdoor camera just above my door. And yes, I do receive snapshot from it as soon as the switch is pressed. But any camera capable of jpg snapshots will work.
