Z-Wave bi directional communication / improved stability?

Hi Marcel,

It depends a bit, my Fibaro sensors still fail a lot and the NodOn switch is about useless, though we operate more and more using “Hey Google” that now works great due to the recent integration.

By adding even more devices my lights are almost stable, only about once a week a light fails to respond. I’m waiting for the Aeotec app to support the new light bulb and will then add a lot of those to my network as well, hope Z-Wave stability improves even further and then also reaches the attic. My Z-Wave smoke alerts also seem to work as the Insights now contain lots of data each day where before it had only a single report within a week with some luck.

But I’m not confident it is or ever will be mature enough to replace my alarm system. Afraid that the window and door sensors have the same issue as the motion sensor and fail a lot or generate false reports, so I’ll keep those separate.
