Is it possible to stop an effect in shelly rgbw2 with a flow in this release?

I have no idea what you are asking. I dont use HomeKit (or Apple in general).
Don’t think it is. There is no integration between the shelly app and homey. Homey just connects to the shelly’s on network connectivity and add’s them as a device. Inside homey you can give the (at least the 1PM) a ‘type’ of device, for instance ‘light’.
Garagedoor is not part of this list and if you would like it to be, you should add a feature request @ Athom / Homey.
The Homekit app exposes the various devices to homekit, based on the type of device homekit recognizes the ‘type’ of device, but since garagedoor is not available within homey as a type, it will never be exposed like that to homekit.
Obviously I do agree with you, it would be great if we could do this, but it’s not for a app developer to do. It is however possible to change the image within Homey for Shelly devices, this is pretty cool already and i’d wish more dev’s would adopt this.

Are you running Homey firmware 5.x (which is currently only available in the experimental channel)?

You are using the wrong cli. You need to homey app run command. And perhaps even install the Homey CLI if you havent yet with npm install -g homey.

what CLI version do you have installed? you can see this by typing
homey --version
in the command line, current/latest version is “2.6.1”, you might need to update:
npm install -g homey
Yes I was using the wrong version, an update fixed it 
@Phuturist the didn’t work for me, I only get error messages when I try to control my rgbw2 and the app pauses.
I need to know the error messages to be able to fix anything.

For error 1 it would be nice to see if there is extra debugging information on the command line. Did you use the homey app run command and did you see any information on the command line when trying to control your RGBW2 device?
Is it possible for u to put this lines between the </> ?
