Did you eventually manage to upgrade your account?

Nope :see_no_evil: šŸ„²

Homey V5 has been declared as stable version

This means the Kia Hyundai app can finally be released as stable in the Homey app store.

I just uploaded version 2.0.1 to both the community store and the Homey store. Be patient: it takes some time before 2.0.1 appears in these stores.

v2.0.1

  • Fix ETTH when just parked.
  • Improved car parked detection.
  • Improved error handling.
  • Packages updated: bluelinky@6.0.0 kuvork@6.0.0-alpha4

Both the HCS and the Homey app store have released the new version. In the Homey app store it is from now on available as a stable release

The Kia Soul appears not to be reporting its 12v battery state. This makes the Homey app crash after a few minutes. If you experience this issue please test this new version 2.0.3 and let me know if that fixes it:

@SJ9 : this should fix your issue

Keeps crashing for me, but now I can see the values from the car in the app (e-Soul 64kWh - app v2.0.3).

What is crashing @MrNickNoldus ? Can you post the app log?

Iā€™m not sure exactly what is crashing, it worked for a while yesterday after the upgrade to 2.0.3. Maybe the car was Ā«aliveĀ» then and now it is hibernating. I can try it while driving the car later and see if it is crashing. I think the car has the original software from June 2019, but it will be upgraded on Wednesday.

Hello Gruijter,

Same here. Crashes all the time. With all 3 versions 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 and 2.0.3 have an E-soul 64 kwh

2021-02-22 12:50:32 [err] [uvo] [0] Error [ERR_UNHANDLED_ERROR]: Unhandled error. (ā€˜Response code 401 (Unauthorized)ā€™) at t.emit (events.js:300:17) at t. Kia and Hyundai changed something in their API. The development community is working hard to analyze and resolve the problem. Until that time all apps that use the unofficial interface (like this Homey app) will not be able to login.

To be continuedā€¦

Ok, so major progress was made. Iā€™m testing a new version that is working again with Kia. For Hyundai more work needs to be done still by the developer community.

Let me know if you have a Kia and want to have the test version.

Yes, i have a Kia e-soul and would like to test the test version

Ok, test version can be installed from here: https://homey.app/a/com.gruijter.hyundai_kia/test/

THIS ONLY WORKS FOR KIA RIGHT NOW. HYUNDAI IS STILL WORK IN PROGRESS!

Got the new version installed and i got both a Kia eSoul and a Kia Niro PHEV. Looks like it is working good so far for both.

BTW @Gruijter what do this mean.

2021-02-28 14:17:51 [log] [uvo] [1] Error: out_of_range at Remote Process target_temperature 14.5.

I think that is from my Niro PHEV.

// Ted

Means the car reported a target temperature (climate control) that is invalid. Usually corrects itself when a new temperature is set by you.

Ok i gues it could be explained by the climat control is not pure electric on a PHEV like it is in my eSoul. I can not set it in UVO for that car for that reading. It need the petrol engine for that.

Whoohoo

Thanks to some incredible hard work of the developer community the Homey app v2.1.1 is working again for both Kia and Hyundai.

Get it here now: https://homey.app/a/com.gruijter.hyundai_kia/test/
