Hi I’ve not did this, could you tell me how you have did this. I’ve been trying but struggling to figure it out. I have a UDM

Whats the problem? We need log. Anyway i don’t have UDM, mybe it has different software.

Does not work with the latest firmware and version.
Started getting unauthorized. It keeps hammering away trying to connect… have to disable the app.

Any ideas?

Okey, did you reinstall the app in homey, and the UDM is up to date? With the user, can you connect and control in chrome the network? 2FA is turned off? Mybe reboot the UDM too. For me the 443 port is the good, so check the :heavy_check_mark: in UNIFIOS.

I have not given the UDM controller a name, I have been inserting the controller gateway here, 192.168.1.1/24

I’ll try naming the controller

Now resolved, many thanks

Awesome what was the problem?

I just had to change the controller host name from the default one

Now to see what flows I can make

Thanks again

Hi,
I tried to use the Unifi app with my UDM and it worked fine, but I noted that the CPU load on my Homey was doubled so I uninstalled the Unifi app.
Does anyone have same experience?

Indeed, but of course its normal, because one more app is use the processor and working.

Check mine:

A bit more (0.7 to 0.8 max 1.0), but its not 70+ (are bad)! That 10%+ its not bad at all.

I am still having issues. I get 401 unauthorized…

Settings in the app:

  • Host: 192.168.1.110
  • Port: 443
  • Username: (the SSL username set up for the controller)
  • Password: (the SSL password set up for the controller)
  • Site: Home

Some comments:

  • I have 2FA enabled for my Ubiquity account. But that should not matter because I assume Homey is using the SSL username/password to authenticate?
  • It stopped working after I upgraded my Cloud Key with the latest firmware and version.

Are you sure you have to use port 443. Log in on your cloudkey to check the port.

Maybe you can also try the different usernames and password. I think i used the username and password of the cloudkey and not the controller, bur aint sure.

I finally resolved it!

If you want to keep 2FA (which you definitely should for obvious security reasons whenever possible!) do this:

  1. Login to you Cloud key over local IP from a browser (e.g. https://192.168.1.110).
  2. Go to Users
  3. Select your user you want to use for fetching data to homey (e.g. the owner account).
  4. Go to the tab “Profile”
  5. Enable “Local account” and enter a username and password.

That’s it on the Unifi side of things. Now go to the Ubiquity Unifi Network app on homey on your phone and enter the local IP of your cloud key, provide port 443 (https) and provide the LOCAL user that you just created in step 5 above.

That did it for me! You should avoid using your Ubiquity cloud account as suggested elsewhere.

Wired devices are now visable.
But there is no options for flows. This would be very handy for devices like a pc to monitor if the are on or off

Since 8 hours ago the unifi network app is stopped working, anyon else has this problem?
