Wow that was fast, no I’m sorry don’t have a homey pro (yet) to try it.
Oh that’s a shame.
But how did you make this picture if I may ask?
I was looking for a new smart home solution. Unfortunately I ran into homey beta at the day of announcement
Oh so it’s a homey bridge picture!
Ok I’ll DM you
I have the following devices:
Multisensor 4 in 1 ZD 2201BR-5
Recessed door sensor ZD 2105BR-5
If I capture the specs, would it be possible to add these?
Robert
Hey @OzFrog ,
I’ll take a look at that.
Thanks for the screenshots.I need that to add them
Once I have a test version working I’ll let you know
Thanks so much
- NEW: ADD ZD2201 and ZD2105
@OzFrog can you test if this test version works for you?
Seems like I found the correct thread!
I am migrating from Zipato and to have the ZD2102 external sensor to work is one of the last steps I have to do.
So far, everything has gone really smooth, but this issue is blocking me a bit.
I realixe, I can pull out the soldering iron and add wires between the Reed relay and the external connector to have it to do almost what I expect, but that would be to cheat as I see it.
Yes, the official app V2.5.0.
The sensor works fine using a magnet.
But, when I try to get the external sensor input to work, nothing at all happens. No reaction at all.
I have selected “Turn on the external input = Yes” in Advanced Settings.
In the old thread I first found, this issue was discussed some year(s) ago.
Can you share a diagnostic report with me?
You can do that via:

- NEW: ADD ZD2201 and ZD2105
- FIX: ZD2102 external switch setting
@PeterW can you check if this works. You can install the test version via the above link
Gosh, that was quick!
Nope. At least not yet. I maybe have to wait 3600 seconds for the setting to be active?
A sidenote is that the tamper alarm doesn’t work either, nor the battery status. Thos two is of no importance for me, more on the “cosmetic” side.
I’ll check it out @PeterW
Don’t have the device myself so checking the manual
Will come back with an update
Now (after 3600 seconds), the parameter “Turn on the external input” was set to “No” .
When I try to set in to “Yes”, I get error message “failed_to_set_Enable_External_Switch_to_true_size_1”.
Hey @PeterW
most of the time with Z-wave battery devices it’s that the device is in sleep mode. What you can try:
