I’ve promised to come back when it works, so here I am.
I’ve used the ZBMINI in combination with this relay:
Fin Relais 1W 16A, 230VAC - Interface relais (indi.nl)
The PIR switches the relay with 230V, en the relay works as a regulair switch, connected to the ZBMINI.

I always like it when gear that’s still functional doesn’t end up in land fill and get’s repurposed…
The other bonus to is those PiR’’s are a lot more robust and sturdier when it comes to outdoor use than most IOT based PIR’s which can be a bit fragile … eg UV exposure, weather proofness … etc etc
Also when the PIR eventually dies will only cost you €5 to replace… cheap as chips …
